VISAKHAPATNAM, JULY 26. The State Government has decided to waive the sales tax dues amounting to Rs. 50 crores to be paid by the public sector Hindustan Shipyard Limited here. The Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, responded positively when the Visakhapatnam-I MLA, Dronamraju Satyanarayana, met him at Hyderabad on Monday and requested him to waive the sales tax dues of the shipyard, which was facing a financial crisis.
