PATHANAMTHITTA, JULY 27. The students at the College of Engineering of the Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD) at Adoor today expressed concern over the ongoing ``campaign'' against the college authorities in the wake of the suicide of Rajani S. Anand in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday. Addressing a press conference at Adoor today, the college Senate member, Kenny Jacob, said the students were deeply moved over the death of Rajani who was a third semester student at the college. Mr. Jacob, was accompanied by three other final year engineering students of the college, Jossie Jose, Sarath and Manu Varghese. According to them, to the best of their knowledge, Rajani had never nursed any grievance or complaint against the college authorities or the private hostel at Adoor where she was staying. He said the allegations levelled against the college Principal from different quarters, in the wake of Rajani's suicide, were totally ``baseless and defamatory''.
