KOLLAM, JULY 27. The demonstrations organised by the AISF, AIYF and KSU today here in protest against the educational policies of the State Government were peaceful. The KSU organised a fast at the Press Club maidan. The AISF and AIYF organised a joint march to the Collectorate. They were blocked in front of the Collectorate by the police. The demonstrators dispersed after raising slogans against the educational policies. No untoward incidents were reported from any other part of the district.
