OBC bonds under rating watch

NEW DELHI: With the Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) set to absorb the financially troubled Global Trust Bank, the Investment and Credit Rating Agency (ICRA) has placed the LAAA rating assigned to Tier II bonds of OBC under rating watch. According to a press note issued by the rating agency, ICRA is in the process of evaluating the impact of the merger and would announce its final view on the outstanding rating after completing the assessment. — Our Special Correspondent
