Mangalore Chemicals net up
MANGALORE: The first quarter total income of Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilisers has doubled to Rs. 151.35 crores. The operating results for the quarter has registered a net profit before tax of Rs. 1.17 crores against a net loss of Rs. 1.94 crores before tax in the corresponding period of the previous year, a release from the Company Secretary, S. Kannan here on Tuesday stated. The turnover was Rs. 614.21 crores, up 9 per cent over the previous year. The profit before tax at Rs. 22.45 crores, a rise of 8 per cent. Our Staff Correspondent
