Allianz Cornhill plans centre in Technopark
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Allianz Cornhill Information Services, the Indian subsidiary of the U.K.-based Allianz Cornhill Insurance plc., which is one of the world's leading financial service providers, has decided to set up its BPO operation in the Technopark here.
Announcing this decision here on Tuesday, John Knowles, Director, Allianz Cornhill Insurance, said his firm had studied many possible options for locating its offshore initiative and took the calculated risk to be the first BPO of Kerala.
Welcoming this initiative, P. K. Kunhalikutty, the Minister for Industries and Information Technology, remarked that the fact that blue chip companies were expanding in Kerala was proof of the reform process gathering further momentum in the State. — Our Staff Reporter
