Kurnool
By Our Staff Reporter
KURNOOL, JULY 27. The CPI(M) New Democracy MLA from Illendu, Gummadi Narsaiah, has said the party will wage a struggle for distribution of seed farm land among the landless poor at Tangedancha in Kurnool district. Mr. Narsaiah along with party senior leaders -- G. Diwakar and Jhansi -- and party district secretary, P. Gokari, visited the village and addressed a public meeting on Tuesday. Later, the delegation called on the Collector and urged him to implement the promises made by the previous Government and officials in the past. Mr. Narsaiah said the issue would be raised in the Assembly. Though the Government seed farm had ceased its operations, the Government was trying to postpone its distribution, he alleged, adding that it would ultimately help landlords. Mr. Gokari said the local MLA, Gauru Charita, should also take initiative in this regard and clarify her stand over land distribution.
