Matricide most foul?

Kakinada, July 27. Datla Ravi Kumar (40), who was under heavy indebtedness, allegedly stabbed his aged mother, Ravi Venkata Kumary (80), to death for money and gold ornaments at their residence in the Sudhanagar area on the town's outskirts under the Sarpavaram police station limits here.

According to S.Sherifuddin, Sub Divisional Police Officer, the murder, which was committed on July 24, came to light on Tuesday. Her eldest son, Venkateswara Raju, was away in Dakodu village in the agency area busy in agricultural operations. On his return he broke open the door and the highly decomposed body was found.
