PSGCAS dominates

COIMBATORE, JULY 27. PSG College of Arts and Science scored 11 points from three rounds, while Angappa College managed seven from two to dominate the opening day's proceedings of Bharathiar University inter-collegiate chess tournament for men and women at the Hindusthan College of Arts and Science (HICAS) here on Tuesday.

The results:

Men: P.S.G College of Arts & Science (11 points), Hindusthan College of Arts & Science (9), Sri Nehru Maha Vidayalya (9), Kongunadu College of Arts & Science (9), Erode Arts College 8.5.

Women: Angappa College (7), Sri G.V.G College of Arts & Science (6.5), LRG Govt. College (6), Nirmala College of Arts & Science (6), Tirupur Kumaran College (6).
