AFTC in line for title

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JULY 27. Air Force Training Command (AFTC), Bangalore is poised to win the title in the Air Force National table tennis championship held at the Vayur Vihar here on Tuesday.

AFTC outplayed defending champion South Western Air Command 3-0 and also scored identical victories over Eastern Air Command and Maintenance Command to remain unbeaten.

Last year's runner-up Western Command scored victories over Eastern Air Command and Southern Air Command. Maintenance Command also notched up two wins after defeating South Western Air Command 3-1 and Eastern Air Command 3-0 respectively.
