Foreign players to train at PPBA

BANGALORE, JULY 27. Rajiv Ouseph, one of the top junior players in England and Europe, will train at the Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy (PPBA) here.

Rajiv is in town, along with his sister Rashmi, who is ranked No. 5 in the girls' section and both will spend about a month and train under Parkash Padukone and U. Vimal Kumar.

The Sri Lankan No. 1, Niluka, is also expected to train at the PPBA from July 30.

Niluka will be accompanied by the Sri Lankan National coach, Nallathamby.

A 10-member boys' team from Sri Lanka, representing St. Thomas College, Mount Lavina, is scheduled to train in Bangalore in the first week of August.

The Sri Lankan boys will combine practice with friendly matches during their stay here.
