Infant's body found

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD, JULY 27. The body of a new-born baby boy was found abandoned on the roadside in Sultan Nagar under Sanjeevareddynagar police station area on Monday night. "It could be still-born baby or just a couple of days old," the police said.

Locals woke up last night when they heard a thud in a corner and rushed out only to see the body of an infant and a car speeding away. It is suspected that those travelling in the car threw the body and fled the place.

The police registered a case under Section 318 (concealment of birth by secret disposal of dead body) of IPC.
