Police Commissioner stranded!

HYDERABAD, JULY 27. The City Police Commissioner, R.P. Singh, witnessed anxious moments when the lift in which he was going to the top floor of the commissionerate building suddenly stuck due to power failure. The incident sent the commissionerate staff into a tizzy as the Commissioner was held up in the lift for a couple of minutes. "However, the lift, which is used by officers had a facility of coming down to the nearest floor in the event of power failure and this saved us from embarrassment", a policeman said.
