Reynold Timothy blanks Ajay Dev

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JULY 28. Reynold Timothy trounced Ajay Dev 6-0, 6-0 in the men's singles first round in the 61st Trivandrum Open State-ranking tennis tournament at the TTC courts here on Wednesday.

The results (singles): Men (first round): Sekhar Satish bt Devassy Jose 6-3, 6-3; Cecil George bt Nikhil Thampi 6-1, 6-1; Viji Kumar bt R.S.Sunil 6-0, 6-3; Austin Lopez bt Shiju 6-0, 6-3; S.L.Arun bt Veerendra Bhushan 7-6, 7-5; Nirun Raj bt A.Sherif 6-1, 6-1; Reynold Timothy bt Ajay Dev 6-0, 6-0.

Under-18 boys (first round): Abhilash bt Reejo Varghese 9-6; A. Anand bt Ajay Dev 9-0.
