Zain stars for St. Andrews

HYDERABAD, JULY 28. Zain's tally of 21 points featured in St. Andrews' authoritative 42-19 victory over St. John's in the Dr. Emily Emanuel memorial inter-school basketball tournament in Bowenpally on Wednesday.

On the distaff side, Yamini's dozen points steered Hyderabad Public School to a 17-2 win over Satyam Public School.

The results: Boys: St. Andrews 42 (Zain 21, Ashley 8) bt St. John's 19 (Gopal 11); HPS, Begumpet 25 (Vidur 8) bt Satyam Public School 10; Don Bosco 21 (Krishna 10) bt DAV Public School 13.

Girls: Neeraj Public School 16 (Supriya 8) bt DAV Public School 9; HPS 17 (Yamini 12) bt Satyam Public School 2.
