BIDAR, JULY 28. Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company (GESCOM) will take steps to shift power meters from houses or commercial establishments in select towns in Bidar district to outside their premises to enable better billing and to avoid power theft. According to a release, all customers are directed to shift their meters before September 30. If this is not followed, the power company will shift the meters for a charge. This order will be applicable in Bidar and Basavakalyan in Bidar district and also Gangavati, Koppal, Bellary and Hospet, the press release has said.
