Aryadan clarifies

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JULY 28. The Congress member, Aryadan Mohammed, said in the Assembly on Wednesday that he had not made any remark intended to defame or disparage the engineering student, Rajani S. Anand who committed suicide here last Thursday.

Refuting the Opposition contention that he made such a remark in the House, Mr. Mohammed said in a personal explanation that he had only said that inquiry should cover what she had been doing after leaving her house on Tuesday as the information could be a turning point for the inquiry.
