Centre fixes intake for 3 medical colleges

NEW DELHI, JULY 28. The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare today fixed the intake for three Government medical colleges in Tamil Nadu on the basis of the Medical Council of India recommendations.

According to a Ministry statement, the colleges in Tuticorin and Asaripallam (Kanyakumari district) have been permitted an intake of 100 students each. For the Tirunelveli Medical College, it has been increased from 100 to 150.
