Chittoor has it easy

HYDERABAD, JULY 29. Chittoor outplayed Cuddapah 8-3 in the first Andhra inter-district hockey super league match at the Begumpet Police Stadium here on Thursday. Chittoor shot into lead in the 26th minute through a field goal by winger Kishore. In the 32nd minute, Vinod Raju made it 2-0 and Kishore soon made it 3-0. Kishore, Vinod Raju, Rajesh and Choudhary Babu completed the tally for the winner. Gopalraju, Sairam and Paul Moses reduced the margin for Cuddapah. In another match, Guntur and Visakhapatnam played out a 2-2 draw. Ajay Babu and Satyanarayana scored for the former, while Satyamahesh and Phanikumar for the latter.
