Koramangala edges out Falcon

BANGALORE, JULY 29. Koramangala edged out Falcon 37-36 in a group `C' encounter of the State `B' division basketball league at the Sree Kanteerava stadium outdoor courts here on Thursday. The winner led 16-14 at the halfway stage and posted its first win. Falcon had defeated Bharath SU on Wednesday.

Forced to play two matches on Thursday due to rain on Wednesday evening, some teams crumbled under pressure. Sports Hostel boys, however, had it in them to register two victories to virtually top group `B,' while State Bank and BEL faltered. SAI (Dharwad) overcame BEL 46-37 for its second win in group `A.'
