Ardbo was wanted by CBI
NEW DELHI,
JULY 29.
Martin Karl Ardbo, president of A.B. Bofors when the controversial deal with India was signed, who died in Sweden today was wanted by the CBI. Interpol had issued the Red Corner notice against him.
The former Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi, the former Defence Secretary, S. K. Bhatnagar, and Bofors agent Win Chaddha, all accused in the Bofors case, died during the investigations and the trial since the case came to light in 1987. PTI
