THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JULY 29. The Kerala State Private Bus Operators Federation and the Kerala State Private Bus Operators Organisation have decided to intensify their ongoing agitation by organising a dharna in front of the Secretariat and all Collectorates in the State on August 1. The president of the federation, Khalid Mundappally said it has also been decided to submit `G' forms to the concerned Regional Transport Officers to inform them that the buses are not plying. This will enable the private bus operators who are on strike since Sunday midnight to seek exemption from paying the vehicle tax, he said. The leaders of the two associations today held a joint meeting in the capital to decide on the future course of action. Mr. Mundappally said the strike would not be withdrawn until all the demands are met. Trade union leaders are meeting in Kozhikode on Friday to extend support to the strike.
