Consumer index up 4 points
SHIMLA,
JULY 3.
The all India consumer price index number for industrial workers (base 1982=100) increased by four points during June to 512, the Labour Bureau said here today. The 12 monthly moving average of index also increased to 503.67 from 502.42, providing the Central and State government employees to 3 per cent additional allowance with effect from July 1. The point-to-point rate of inflation based on CPI-IW also increased to 3.02 per cent in June from 2.83 per cent in May. PTI
