Delhi Police holds Royal Rangers
NEW DELHI,
JULY 30.
Group leader Royal Rangers was held to a goalless draw by Delhi Police in the DSA `A' Division football league championship at the Nehru stadium here on Friday.
Rangers, with 17 points from seven matches and Delhi Police with 16 points made it to the super league. In an inconsequential league match, Paschim Heroes scored a convincing 3-0 win against Ashoka Club. In a group `C' encounter, Banga Darshan and Delhi Veterans played out 1-1 draw at the Ambedkar Stadium. The super league begins on August 1.
