Ravikanth scalps six

HYDERABAD, JULY 30. Ravikanth's six for 28 helped R. Dayanand XI record a 29-run win over Galaxy in the A division (two-day) cricket league match here on Friday.

In another match, C. J. Neeraj Kumar's 187 (23x4) went in vain for Jai Bhagwati against Gemini Friends as the second day's play was washed out.

The scores:

A division (two-day): Sporting XI 138 (Shiva Prasad 37; Sylesh Muthu three for 20) lost to EMCC 139 for six (J.Anshul Lal 46, Mohd. Azmath Khan 57).

R. Dayanand 216 for nine (T. Aaron Paul 78 not out; Sanga Sinha Reddy three for 39) bt Galaxy 187 (Vijay 98, Kiran 30; Ravikanth six for 28).

Balaji Colts 153 (Sushil B. Semwal 32; Srikant Raju four for 34) lost to Vijay Hanuman 156 for five (Shakeer 79, Sami 30 not out).

Jai Bhagwati 291 (C. J. Neeraj Kumar 187, B. Srinivas 33; Ramakrishna three for 62) drew with Gemini Friends 22 for no loss — match abandoned.

Continental 375 (Amith K. Pandey 55, Kranthi Kumar 49, Venugopal Reddy 41, M. A. Ali 133; Sharath Chandra four for 120, Amol Joshi four for 126) drew with Amberpet.
