HYDERABAD, JULY 31. Portraits of the AICC president, Sonia Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi have made their way into the chambers of Ministers in Secretariat. Large-sized laminated pictures of both have been placed in the chambers of Ministers on either side of the one showing the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. A Secretariat official said they were only following the instructions of the Government while decorating the chambers with the pictures. A Minister explained that they had initiated the step as Ms. Gandhi was chairperson of the United Democratic Alliance guiding the Government at the Centre while Rajiv Gandhi had sacrificed his life for the country.
