Clear the air on Telangana: TDP

By Our Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD, JULY 31. The Telugu Desam Party has demanded the Telangana Rashtra Samithi and the Congress to jointly clarify and clear the air over the "confusion" on separate Telangana State in view of the statements being made by leaders of the two parties. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, senior TDP leader, N. Janardhana Reddy, accused the Union Minister and TRS leader, K. Chandrasekhara Rao, of speaking in "different tongues" and creating confusion among people on the Telangana issue.

KCR criticised

Quoting the statements made by Mr. Rao over the past few months, he said for the sake of power he made a `U' turn even on the implementation of GO 610.Referring to the statement of the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, that the formation of Telangana would depend on a consensus among political parties, he said the Congress president, Sonia Gandhi, Dr. Reddy and Mr. Rao should jointly issue a statement and clear the confusion.
