VIJAYAWADA, JULY 31. The Jana Shikshana Samsthan plans to organise vocational training programmes for unemployed youth from August 2. In a statement on Saturday, the samsthan Director, N. Vidya Kanna, said training would be imparted in car driving and maintenance, stabiliser-making, inverter-servicing, diesel mechanism, VCD and DVD servicing and hand embroidery from August 2. For those interested in glass painting, dry cleaning and embroidery, the samsthan will organise classes from August 3. It will also impart tips on fabric painting from August 4, making decorative articles with wax from August 6, machine embroidery and home crafts from August10 and sewing machine and mixer grinder mechanism from August 16. From August 18, the samsthan intends to impart training in refrigeration and air-conditioning, electrician, cell phone repairs, computer hardware, radio and TV mechanism and fabric painting and from August 27, it will extend tips on dress-making and dress designing. Those interested can contact the samsthan office at Mogalrajupuram or its branch in Kasi Visweswara Bhawan, door No. 55-1-46, Industrial Estate.
