COIMBATORE, JULY 31. A State-level seminar on cultivation of jatropha, sweet sorghum and sugar beet will be organised at the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University on August 5 for the benefit of farmers. In a release here today, the University said that the seminar would provide information to farmers, entrepreneurs and development officials, on the production and processing of these three crops. Scientists from the University would explain the production processes for these crops, besides post-harvest and processing techniques. Farmers could interact with the scientists to obtain clarifications and further information, the release added.
