From A Correspondent
NEDUMBASSERY, JULY 31. A separate office for handling domestic cargo would soon be set up at the Cochin International Airport Limited. A room adjacent to the storeroom of the duty-free shop would serve as the office. Order for an X-ray machine has been placed and the office would start functioning once the machine is made available. At present, screening of cargo is being done along with the passenger's baggage inside the domestic terminal, whereas cargo bound for foreign destinations has a separate handling section.
