VISAKHAPATNAM, JULY 31. The field offices of the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) will function from Monday. According to a spokesman of the VUDA, the field offices are fully equipped with staff and records with all the relevant information. The VUDA Vice-Chairman and Special Officer, Dasari Sreenivasulu, instructed the heads of the departments and officials to provide all the facilities to the users so that the latter could avoid the trouble of coming all the way to the head office in Visakhapatnam. The heads of the departments from the VUDA will visit the field offices every Monday to review and finalise all issues. The field offices would start functioning from Monday at Anakapalle, Gajuwaka, Bheemunipatnam, and Vizianagaram, covering all the four zones of the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region (VMR), the entire jurisdiction of the VUDA. They are located in the municipal offices at both Gajuwaka and Bheemunipatnam. The field office in Vizianagaram is set up at Balaji Complex and at Anakapalle, it is located in the Dr. Rao Gopala Rao Auditorium. The offices would be equipped with approved layout plans in the zone, zonal map, records, documents for registration, etc. Computer facility would also be be provided linking it with the head office online to get updated information from time to time, the spokesman said.
