New prices for petrol, diesel

BANGALORE, JULY 31. The price of petrol and diesel went up by Rs. 1.23 and Rs. 2.15 a litre respectively in Bangalore from midnight today.

According to official sources, petrol would now cost Rs. 43.10 a litre as against the old price of Rs. 41.87. A litre of diesel would cost Rs. 28.45 (old price Rs. 26.30).
