Venkateshwara and Saraswathi triumph

HYDERABAD, AUG. 1. Ch .Venkateshwara and V. Saraswathi both of Hyderabad district won the titles in the AP State inter-district half marathon race conducted by the Hyderabad District Amateur Athletic Association at the Osmania University grounds here on Sunday.

The results:

Men: 1. Ch. Venkateshwara (Hyderabad) 1 hr 11m 14s ; 2. A. Mahesh (Adilabad) 1 hr 13m 21s; 3. Inder Veer Chauhan (Hyderabad) 1 hr 15m 4s. Women: 1. V. Saraswathi (Hyderabad) 1 hr 38m 20s; 2. S. Muktha (Ranga Reddy Dist) 1 hr 44m 53s; 3. Prema Kala (Hyderabad) 1 hr 59m 39s.
