Garhwal Heroes wins

NEW DELHI, AUG. 1. Manoj Gossain scored the match-winner as Garhwal Heroes beat Hans Club in the SAIL DSA `A' division football super league at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Sunday.

In another match, Ahabab Club was held to a 1-1 draw by Delhi Police. Shyam Kumar put Ahbab ahead and V. Samson equalised for the police team.

At the Nehru Stadium, the match between Ashoka Club and Victory Club was abandoned, when the former led 6-0, as the latter was reduced to six players. In a three-team relegation contest, Victory had earlier lost 0-10 to Young Boys.
