By Our Staff Reporter
VIJAYAWADA, AUG. 1. The Vijayawada MP, L. Rajagopal, on Sunday, called upon the Congress leaders in the city unit to sink their differences and unite to strengthen the hands of the party leadership. Addressing a get-together of party leaders here, he appealed to the Congress MLAs, corporators and other local leaders to form a common platform and contribute their mite for the successful conduct of the ensuing Pushkarams, slated to commence from August 28. "This will also help the party face the civic elections scheduled next year in a confident way," he said. Mr. Rajagopal wanted the leaders to undertake padayatras in all the 50 divisions across the city limits.
