NEW DELHI, AUG. 1. A 42-year-old woman was brutally murdered allegedly by her husband at Mehrauli in South Delhi today. The accused has been arrested and the weapon of offence recovered. According to the police, the incident occurred around 8-30 a.m. when Sikandar hit his wife, Ganga Bai, with an axe injuring her fatally. She was rushed to a hospital where she was declared dead on arrival. During interrogation, Sikandar told the police that he killed Ganga as she was having an illicit relationship with some other person.
