New cultural forum

KOCHI, AUG. 1. Novelist C. Radhakrishnan said that cultural get-togethers were needed to retain a happy society.

He was speaking at the inauguration of the cultural activities of `Tharangam', a cultural organisation of All India Bank Employees' Association here on Sunday. The Tharangam activities got off with a musical programme which was inaugurated by cine artiste Jayasoorya.
