TIRUPATI, AUG. 2. Inter-union rivalry among SBI staff members appears to have come to the fore yet again. The SBI Staff Union Hyderabad Circle (SBISUHC) on Monday asked its members to be wary of `disgruntled members' who, though `defeated' in elections, were misusing their position and indulging in a `misinformation campaign" against the union. In a statement to the media here, the Secretary of the All-India SBI Staff Federation, P. K. Patnaik, dismissed as `baseless" claims that the `disgruntled' enjoyed the support of the Federation, and strongly condemned the `misdeeds' of what he called divisive forces. The SBISUHC, which is affiliated to the AISBISF, appealed to its members not to be misled by the `vicious campaign' against the union.
