Varavara Rao favours monitoring panel

VISAKHAPATNAM, AUG. 3. The killing of a covert in Khammam by the People's War naxalites would not have happened had the Government agreed to the suggestion of forming a monitoring committee, the revolutionary writer, Varavara Rao, said here on Tuesday.

He made this observation while talking to reporters at the railway station here on his way to Batupuram in Srikakulam district, along with the other two mediators, Gaddar and Kalyana Rao.
