Preveen posts win

COIMBATORE, AUG 3. R. Preveen Kumar of Champions Billiards Academy (Coimbatore) scored a 74-21, 18-58, 53-3 win over club mate Kiruba in the opening round of the Rail Trophy billiards and snooker tournament that began at the Southern Railway Institute (SRI) premises here on August 1.

In another keenly fought contest, Radhakrishnan of SRI (Podanur) managed to oust Velumayal from the same institute 30-52, 51-35, 71-50.
