Fermented wash destroyed

TIRUVARUR, AUG. 3. In prohibition raids conducted for three days in the district, the police seized 2,095 litres of spirit, 4,045 litres of illicit arrack and 1,000 litres of fermented wash and destroyed them. The police arrested 64 persons, including two women. .

3 held in Krishnagiri

The Prohibition Enforcement Wing personnel seized 2,300 litres of illicit arrack at Tali, Krishnagiri, yesterday.

Three persons were arrested.
