SNDP to expand its financing scheme

NEW DELHI, AUG. 3. The Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam will expand its popular `micro financing' scheme meant for helping members of the community to launch new income-generating ventures.

The SNDP Yogam general secretary, Vellappally Natesan, told newsmen here today that the scheme, which was aimed at improving the standard of living of the people from the Ezhava community, had been implemented six months ago in some areas in Kollam district. - UNI
