Plea against rubber import

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, AUG. 3 . The Kerala State Cooperative Marketing Societies Association has urged the State Government and the Rubber Board to take immediate steps to check the fall in the price of rubber.

The chairman of the Association, G. Sugunan, said today that the fall in price was triggered by the industrial lobby's bid to import rubber.
