`Telecop' to keep burglars at bay

VISAKHAPATNAM, AUG. 3. An electronic burglar alarm with telephone alert has been introduced in the local market along with other home and shop security devices by Bhavani Enterprises.

Giving a demonstration of the devices at a press conference here on Tuesday, the consultant for the authorised dealer, Tejander Mal, said the technology was sourced from France and manufactured in Mumbai.

`Telecop', the burglar alarm device, he explained, would set off an alarm and give a continuous alert on the designated phone if there was a break-in of the house/shop of the owner. Sensors installed at all entry points of the house/shop would set off the buzzer and the phone alert if entry was made into the premises in the absence of the owner.
