VISAKHAPATNAM, AUG. 3. An electronic burglar alarm with telephone alert has been introduced in the local market along with other home and shop security devices by Bhavani Enterprises. Giving a demonstration of the devices at a press conference here on Tuesday, the consultant for the authorised dealer, Tejander Mal, said the technology was sourced from France and manufactured in Mumbai. `Telecop', the burglar alarm device, he explained, would set off an alarm and give a continuous alert on the designated phone if there was a break-in of the house/shop of the owner. Sensors installed at all entry points of the house/shop would set off the buzzer and the phone alert if entry was made into the premises in the absence of the owner.
