46 FDI proposals cleared

NEW DELHI, AUG. 4. The Central Government has approved 46 proposals for foreign direct investment envisaging a total foreign exchange inflow of Rs. 408.22 crores. However, Maersk of Denmark accounts for the bulk of the investment, amounting to Rs. 317.80 crores, for the creation of a joint venture company in India for re-development of bulk terminals into container terminals.
