Two farmers end lives

KARIMNAGAR, AUG. 4. A farmer comitted suicide by consuming pesticide in Ghanapur village of Saidapur mandal on Wednesday. Reports reaching here said that D. Linga Reddy (45), incurred huge loss due to failure of crops. Unable to clear debts to the tune of Rs. 2 lakh, he committed suicide. He is survived by wife, a son and a daughter.

Another farmer, K.Seshanna, committed suicide by consuming pesticide at K. Nagalapuram in Kurnool district. According to reports, the farmer was caught in debt-trap due to recurring crop loss.
