Sand, tipper lorries to go off road

CHENNAI, AUG. 4. The Association of owners of sand and tipper lorries in Chennai, Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur districts will go on an indefinite strike from August 9.

S. Yuvaraj, president, Chennai Lorry Owners Association told the press that the decision was taken as their operations was getting affected in the last couple of days due to "the intervention of an individual," which was creating problems for the lorry owners operations and causing revenue loss to Government.
