Cloudy sky forecast

The sky will be generally cloudy on Saturday. The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded on Friday were 30.7 degree Celsius and 22.2 degree Celsius respectively while the relative humidity was 64 per cent. Traces of rainfall were reported till 8.30 p.m.

Assumes charge

M. Sudhir has assumed charge as the Deputy General Manager, State Bank of Hyderabad, Secunderabad Zonal office, in place of M.C. Jacob, who is posted to the Hyderabad Zonal office. The Secunderabad Zonal office covers branches in Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Kerala, Ranga Reddy and Medak districts in Andhra Pradesh, according to a press release.

Book released

A book on Quran, `Kitab-Um-Mubeen', was released on Wednesday by the MP, Asaduddin Owaisi, on the occasion of Urs of the author and Sufi saint, Moulana Sahvi Shah. Religious scholars like Akber Nizamuddin and Khaja Shareef addressed the gathering on the occasion, according to a press release.

Talent test

A talent test in general knowledge and IQ will be held for students of classes three to 10 and Intermediate by the Interna-tionalTalentSearch.com at 11 centres in the twin cities on Sunday from 10.30 a.m.

Spot admissions

Spot admissions are being held for diploma courses in craft technology and home science at Government Girls Vocational Institute in East Marredpally.
