NEW DELHI, AUG. 6. It is time for all student bodies to get active as the dates for Delhi University Students' Union election 2004-05 have been announced. While the voting has been scheduled for September 3, the last date for receipt of nominations is August 20 till 3 p.m. after which the list of duly nominated candidates will be displayed. Nominated candidates have to submit Bank draft as security deposit by August 21 up to 4 p.m. The last date for withdrawal of nominations is August 23 till 12 noon, after which the final list of candidates will be displayed. While the elections have been scheduled for September 3, the date, time and venue for counting of votes are yet to be announced. Meanwhile, the Delhi University Vice-Chancellor has appointed Prof. Rajiv Khanna of the Campus Law Centre as Chief Election Officer for the conduct of election of the office bearers and members of the Central Council of Delhi University Students' Union for the year 2004-05.
