DAV PS posts win

HYDERABAD, AUG. 7. DAV Public School recorded a six-wicket win over Delhi Public School in the under-11 category of the 3rd C. Umesh Chandra memorial cricket tournament for sub-junior boys at Air Force Station Grounds here on Saturday.

The scores: Under-11: Delhi Public School 87 (Saicharan three for 11) lost to DAVPS 88 for four (Karthik 30, Saicharan 35 not out).

Under-13: DPS 123 (Surender 30) bt Gujarathi 83 (Santosh 30; Naren three for two, Kishore three for 20).

St. Antony's HS 115 for five (Prasanna 65) bt Hanuman Vyayamshala 69 (Avinash four for 15, Gopi three for 16, Karthik three for 12). Bhega's HS 91 for six (Vasanth 35) bt St. Martin's HS 64 (Ramu 30, Vasanth three for 15).
